Qui est Maykel Fonts ?
Maykel Fonts est un professeur, chorégraphe et danseur, né en 1976 à Cuba. Il s’est formé au sein de l’école « Tropicana », l’école de danse la plus reconnue du pays. Il y a appris à danser le ballet, la danse contemporaine et la Rumba. Puis, en 2000, il a décidé de déménager en Italie avec le groupe « Ire Batà ». Il a pu y suivre les enseignements de Virgilio Pitzalis, Marco Maccheti, Steve LaChance, Gus Bemberry, Christopher Uggins, Chacalli, et Paganini. En 2005, il s’est aussi formé comme danseur de Flamenco à Jerez (capitale du Flamenco), en Espagne.
Maykel Fonts a acquis au cours de son parcours de nombreuses connaissances dans des danses tel que le ballet, le jazz, le hip hop, les danses latines et les danses acrobatiques.
Durant sa carrière, Maykel Fonts a participé à de nombreux événements : Le « Summer Tour » avec Milton Morales en 2001, « Tour for Pupa », « Tour Algida » et le « Tim Tour ». Il était également le premier danseur du chanteur américain Ray Sepulveda lors du « Latin American Festival » de Milan.
Dans le monde de la télévision et du cinéma, il a acquis une notoriété en tant que chorégraphe, danseur et acteur du film « Street dance2 3D ». Mais il a aussi été danseur et acteur du videoclip « Al final de la vida » en 2012, et acteur dans une publicité pour « Nescafé » en 2013. En Italie, il a été danseur dans « Danse avec les stars » de 2013 à 2016. Le parcours de Maykel Fonts est selon moi très impressionnant et pour être honnête, je pense qu’il suffit de le regarder danser pour comprendre sa réussite !
